Snes Amp, Version 1.2 Source mod by Spongemop
---------------------------------------------

This is Spongemop's source mod of SNES Amp. The
"Pitch" and "Speed" bars now found in SNES Amp's
dialog window can modify the audio output from
Winamp. While "Pitch" is a simple sound rate
increase, raising the speed of the song along with
the pitch, "Speed" can control the speed at which
the actual song is interpreted, without affecting
the pitch at which it is played. As both bars
control the speed, I have included a "Total Speed"
readout which compares the current playing speed
of the song to the original, normal speed. The
<--> on the pitch/speed bars marks the original
position. Hmmm, I think that's about it. Now
for the bugs...

Known Bugs
----------

- Certain songs just don't seem to like it, but this
occurance is very rare. Sometimes, it will let you
mod the pitch or speed, but then if you restart the
song, Winamp will crash. For instance, try saving
an SPC of the sound Flammie makes in Secret of Mana
when it picks you up.... then see what happens when
you fool with the pitch. :P

- If you place the pitch too low, (different for all
songs, but usually around 140) a static will arise
in Winamp's sound. I guess Winamp doesn't like playing
sound at such low rates. The pitch bar used to go to
lower values, and it would crash if you put it down
too far. So for now, it's limited to half the original
pitch, and hasn't crashed in that method since.

- A pitch value of 145 to about 150 seems to like to
screw with note cuts in SPC songs... For most songs,
if you put the pitch at 145, note cuts will be
completely ignored and notes will continue
until interrupted by another note. This does not
include volume sets or volume fades.

I think that's about it. Any other questions, comments, etc.
