pmh ~ portable music history

Welcome to pmh, your timeline for portable videogame music. The site will cover all notable portable game systems with existing emulated music formats, starting with the original Game Boy.

All sets released here will be fully timed, and when possible, tagged as well. New sets are released every 6 hours, in chronological order. If you wonder when your favourite game will be released, feel free to check the release schedule.

Extract both the music file (for Gameboy *.GBS, for Game Gear either *.KSS or *.SGC) and the accompanying M3U file from each game archive into the same directory.

If you're using Winamp (or any player that supports Winamp plugin API, like XMPlay), download and install NEZPlug++ plugin. Play (double-click, drag'n drop, etc all should work) the M3U file.
If you're using foobar2000, download and install foo_gep plugin. Play (double-click, drag'n drop, etc all should work) the GBS/KSS/SGC file.
If you're using a Mac, Audio Overload will play the music files, but it doesn't support the M3U timing/tagging information at the moment.
For Neo Geo Pocket games use ValleyBell's in_vgm plugin, for WonderSwan games use 2ch in_wsr plugin.
