Welcome to the Hoot Archive.

Welcome to the Hoot Archive, your one-stop place for Japanese computer game music. The Hoot player is a unique Windows application emulating plenty Japanese computer systems and their sound units. Sound units can be emulated or supported natively if available (great if you happen to own a Roland MT-32, CM-64, SC-55 or similar). This archive in conjunction with its ini enhancements currently covers 2408 game soundtracks by 817 game companies. The lastest update had been processed on Friday, the 5th September, 2008. If you have problems with Hoot please look at our FAQ page or contact us.

Please note that the files currently hosted here are severly outdated. For a newer snapshot of current Hoot sets, please head to temporary archive.
