Eiji Kikuchi was a long time member of Telenet Japan. He first worked as graphic artist, then had been the head of Telenet's subsidiary Riot and directed or produced all of its games. After the great shuffle at Telenet in late 1993 he shared this duty company wide with Joe Asanuma, until he took over Telenet's other subsidiary Wolfteam in 1995 when it turned into Telenet's first development department. Since then he manages development and directs all major games in the Tales series.
